Even though designer Thom Browne is most praised for his menswear, it’s his collections for women that’s getting more attention these recent days. First Lady Michelle Obama showcased his designs in a beautiful way, wearing a structured, tailored blue navy silk jacquard coat and dress during the 57th Presidential Inauguration.  Although heavily influenced by the rigidity of a man’s business attire, Browne successfully finds the delicate balance between masculine style  and audacious femininity.
