The menu changes daily, and although it can be difficult to determine exactly what you will get from this American market fresh menu, you will not be disappointed by anything you choose. Request the more intimate back room – with a private garden – when making a reservation.  The front room can get taken over by the bar scene.

Locanda Verde – TriBeCa

Locanda Verde provides a  lively scene any day of the week. (You actually have to reserve a spot at the bar after 6 p.m.) But the restaurant’s dark nooks yield themselves to a fun, yet still romantic night out in the City. Don’t miss a chance to order the roasted brussels sprouts nor any of the homemade pastas. Of course keep your eyes open.  Locanda Verde is a great place to spot some of the hottest celebs in town.

The Water Club – Midtown East

Not only is the view of the East River in the Water Club breathtaking but the cozy fire in the bar area is perfect for a before or after dinner drink. Specializing in seafood, The Water Club is a great spot for oyster lovers to sample the favorite aphrodisiac. Don’t expect the trendiest crowd in town, but the food will not disappoint.

Apizz is romantic hidden gem that will become your go-to date night spot after just one visit. The food is noteworthy, from the complimentary dips that come with the bread, the homemade pasta and signature meatballs to anything cooked in the wood burning oven. Although the food will likely win you over, the cozy fireplace surely will seal the deal.
