Dsquared² Celebrates the ’40s Woman

12.20.12 Dsquared²

Designers Dean and Dan Caten recently caught the attention of our editors. Not just because they are one of the cutest pair of identical twins we’ve seen, but the stylish pair makes a fun statement with their pre-fall 2013 collection. With these designs, they pay great homage to stylish nature of the American woman in the 1940s by bringing her look back to life with the themed collection called “Lady Sings the Blues”. Model Jasmine Tookes channels her inner Ella Fitzgerald for this Dsquared² photo shoot, elegantly displaying pencil skirts, herringbone tweed, and short-sleeved cardigan sweaters that are belted at the waist. It’s a long way from the quilted leather and gold chains we’re used to seeing from Dean and Dan.  Feel the palpable zest and energy from this Dsquared² collection.
